This international community of about 193 members. Over 70 years UN has helped bring peace to many places. This act of complete kindness and effort of UN should be respected because UN has helped countries that have been torn apart by conflicts and war. They should also be respected because United Nations Peacekeepers try to keep ever-lasting peace between countries. Facts about UN: The Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres that is the 9th Secretary General of UN ttook office in Jan 1st 2017. (Each Secretary-General can only be for 5 years). I would want to thank the United Nations for the Peacekeeping they do and the other 7 things they fix (Aid of emergencies, Health Of Women, Security for Elections, Peacekeeping, Refugee support, Vaccinations, Fix Pollution, Food and Poverty). Because of there Amazing work, UN got the Nobel Peace Prize for 2001. Sadly there are only 3 countries not in UN and these are Vatican City (For Religious Reasons), Taiwan (Choice made by China) and Palestine.
