I wore my first niqab during Ramadhan this year. I was initially very self concious but trying on this type of niqab made me realise how beautiful the art of covering up is. It gave me more passion to continue covering my aurat and being modest.

4 november was the start of my big exam, a milestone i thought i would never have taken in 2022. the start of this year gave me a reality check that ill soon be taking my A levels and finish my two-year tertiary education. the main challenge for this milestone was really the whole year, keeping up with the depth and breadth of the syllabus. i eventually got over it and ive learnt to always take life as it is, even if it didnt go my way at first bcs i know Allah's plans are always best for me

I had to travel alone during the September holidays to meet my extended family. My brother had last minute work while i had to stay home bcs it was exam season. I learnt that uou dont need to chop your passport to go Jb now :). It was a challenging moment for me to overcome my fear of walking alone in a different country

I was the project leader for an event called Lepark! I intended to make an event suited for youths like us to gain knowledge and have fun comfortably in a place where most of us love- East Coast Park! Ive always believed that our love for islam shld be sparked and found in order to practice islam sincerely and effortlessly. ive also seen youths wanting to seek for knowledge relatably. i also wanted to change the meaning of LEPAK ( isap rokok bawah block makan instant noodles ) to finding and gaining knowledge in a fun wayy! hence, my team and i invited speakers like ustazah liyana musfirah and juffri aluii to share a thing or two about progression and finding our faith! we also had football and frisbee competition, sooo funn! ofc the challenges was about finance, bcs there were people that couldnt believe that these type of events would be more beneficial than indoor workshoppps. but we made it and even won a special project award hehe alhamdulillah! hope it benefitted many people.

I was assigned to proposed an idea to bring the K1 children under mycare to a voluntary and service learning experience. I have successfully brought the children to the elderly care home as their excursion. This is a way for me to be able to actively contribute as a muslim citizen through my work.

CHALLENGES:

Planning this out was a challenge as it was my first time and there were a lot of things to consider.
It is a huge responsibility as i was in charge in ensuring that everyone in my team knows the flow of the event.

i managed to visit many anak anak yatim in singapore. the sadness is real. but the ones in batam too.. so heartbreaking. how the children there are so obedient, pious and beriman.. but the parents.. nowhere to be found. ☹️😭😭😭

I WENT TO A GAME CONVENTION CALLED GAMESCOM AND I MET SYA FROM SGAG!!!!!!!! I also cosplayed as my favourite character, Mute from Rainbow Six Siege, who was actually my inspiration to do well for my N levels to get into PFP which led to my poly journey!!! YAAAAA!!!!!!!

1) A lvl journey that got me to where i am right now. the syllabus depth and breadth gave me lots of ups and downs and made me doubt myself many a times. But, it taught me to take life one step at a time

2) Spending my ramadhan nights in school instead of the mosque. i rarely had the time to do terawih most nights which made me devastated. But, my mom gave me advice and consoled me that anything i do in learning at school or anywhere is an ibadah. this is a test for me

3) Going Jb was a difficult for me bcs it was my first time travelling alone. i had so many doubts and hesitation but i made it. j learnt to be independent and confident i. myself.

After being an AT (assistant teacher) for 1 year at the same time studying at NIEC. I have obtained my ACEY (advance certificate in early years) which makes me an official educarer, allowing me to care and teach children form 3 months - 36 months.

CHALLENGES

Work and study at the same time is hectic but worth it.
There are days that I was too exhausted juggling work and study which makes me so demotivated to
continue.
