         <title>ZULIANI BINTI ABDUL MUTALIB (AF170091) Mobile assisted language learning are one of the technology that are been used widely by all the learner. It such a wireless communication that are connected the learner with the others anytime and everywhere even become accessible for all the urban and rural. Among all modern mobile communication devices, it can be say that mobile phone are more use than the other devices as the learner can controls the learning process and progress in their own space based on their cognitive state. This learning also can give some advantages to the learner where they can fell some of freedom of time and space of spare time to learn a second language. Other than that, they will be able to learn in a non-classroom and some of the learners find out that it will more useful for doing activities outside the classroom. This learning also has their own disadvantages too. For example that device possibility was a small screen which can affect on reading. Basically mostly devices were not designed for educational purposes and it is difficult for the learners if the task are given by their teacher. This is due to the initial design of devices and non-existence of developed mobile phones.  However mobile assisted language learning has a rapid pace of development from a teacher-learner text based approach to a forthcoming multimedia supporting technology. It made the online interaction between teachers and learners possible in more convenient way without any time and space limitation.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Mobile Assisted Language Learning<br></strong><br></div><div>Mobile technology has been used worldwide and have various function such as taking picture, sending email or document, video call and others. It makes the communication with other people become easier despite of place and time. Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) focused on the use of mobile technology in language learning. MALL should be focusing on students especially university students. Both lecturers and students can take the advantage on MALL since it is different from classroom learning which required them to come at certain place at certain time. Learning through mobile device allow students to send or receive information from lecturers instantly without having both parties to come to class and enable students to search for resource for their own purpose learning. Other than that, students feel motivated to learn as they are free choose when and where they are going to study. Wherever there is internet connect, they can access the source without problem. Some lecturers and students have their own commitment such as family (especially for married people) that required to settle their tasks first, so MALL can be the solution. But no all people refer to study by following MALL. Some people are prefered to have classroom learning since it more convenient to ask lecturers question direct after the class ended. Everyone must have their own reason to like or dislike MALL.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) is uses of a handheld  mobile device such as mobile phone, MP3, MP4 players and devices such as the iPhone or iPad for language learning. Nowadays, all the student must have mobile phone on their own and with MALL, student were able to communicate with their teacher anywhere and searching language learning materials. Example, when you learning through the computer or e-learning, the learners will feel they in a non-classroom environment because they are at home in front of their laptop or computer but with learning through the mobile phone gives the learners to learn when they are outside or part-time jobs. In fact, they can learn every time or everywhere they are. MALL also will advance your language skill such as vocabulary, reading, listening, speaking and writing. For vocabulary, Learners can practice and learn the target vocabulary is one of the most frequently utilized activities. Nowadays, all people around the world mostly use internet to search the vocabulary and use audio tu practice the pronunciation and support vocabulary learning. Other than that, reading skills of the learners can be improved through MALL because it is likely that the rising popularity of e-books will gradually encourage more reading in foreign language, particularly in English where that language is worldwide language. Listening is one of contributions of MALL to foreign language learning. Everyone is enjoy to use of mobile phone devices such as listening to music or radio programmes. For speaking, learners have a lot of chance to advance their speaking skills through the application. They can use voice and video recording function of mobile phone to practice speaking. Lastly, with MALL they can improve their writing skill such as self-editing, and keeping journals.</div>]]></description>
