The maze runner is about a guy waking up not knowing where he is. He sees that there is a massive maze. Him and another guy help each other by trying to find an exit out of the maze. I like it because there is lots of action and it is very scary because you never know what could happen next.

But my favorite thing is this dystopian story is hidden in the eyes like it’s a utopia. It was showed off as his everything is fair and there is nothing wrong but it made this perfect world so unfair and horrible. So I love the book for that and it kept me into it and interested in it.

Adam

The government controls large mazes and facility’s containing what’s left of the human race. The other humans and monsters are on the outside or king the maze. Humans are surviving by competing to escape and or live in a maze.

My favorite dystopian novel is the giver since in the beginning you didn’t know what was going to happen and it seems like a weird way they lived until the main character was learning about the truth. It was really interesting waiting for the main character to go learn more memories about this place and what truly happens. I like how in the story it makes you wait on a cliff hanger for every chapter and the ending as well. My favorite part is when he learn about the truth of the baby’s and what would happen to his “brother” since everyone had also the same emotions but he didn’t. The more you read the more you saw the community was so control and watched and seeing how he try to had from the community noticing him.

One of my favorite dystopian novels is '1984' by George Orwell. Set in a totalitarian society where the government, led by the Party and its leader Big Brother, exercises extreme control over every aspect of life, the story follows Winston Smith, a man who struggles against the oppressive regime. The novel explores themes of surveillance, censorship, and the manipulation of truth, making it a powerful commentary on the dangers of totalitarianism and the loss of individual freedoms. I appreciate '1984' for its chilling portrayal of a world where free thought is suppressed, and the consequences of complacency in the face of tyranny are starkly illustrated. The book serves as a cautionary tale that remains relevant today, prompting readers to reflect on the importance of vigilance in protecting democratic values.

The story starts with a girl named Ruby, who erases her parents' memories, which leads them to send her away because they no longer remember who she is. When Ruby arrives at a camp, or special school, she discovers her powers and learns that they are color-coded.

In the movie, the kids attempt to break out but are thwarted by loud sounds that weaken them. Cate helps Ruby escape by using her mind control to make a guard let her go. Ruby then faces a series of challenges that allow her to better understand her powers and forces her to make some difficult decisions.
