There is also curved, rock like shapes in a line from one side of the paper to the other going behind the pillars. In my artwork I was thinking about pieces and fragments, how in building a highway homes were physically torn apart and the road has to be torn apart and at the same times communities, especially communities of color were broken apart and fragmented.
