My father had taught me how to play and ever since then I fell in love with the sport. It has helped me stay in shape and healthy. My father later encourged me to join a team and get more experience. Joining a sports team also gives you the opportunity to meet new people. Sport teams also teach you how to work as one which you can apply in multiple things such as school, work, etc...

How does this relate to the theme?

Sometimes when I haven't had the best day, i'll grab a basketball and go play for a while with friends. I'll be playing for hours and will feel much better after having fun for a bit. I take P.E. 4th period which is about half way through the day. This gives me the chance to take a break from school work and not stress.

How does this relate to the theme?

This relates to the theme because it is a stress reliever for me. Without sports, I would always be mad at home after a hard school day and if i'm mad i'll make my parents mad and it'll be a huge issue. One example would be my dad. When he was playing as an adult in Mexico he broke his ankle and ever since he is worried of playing. He'll play around with me but he doesn't have the confidence to play in like a real game.  One of my uncles also broke his wrist and can't move it well to this day.
