My father is serious and strict so I was really afraid of him when I was a child.but then I realize that he just shows his love in a different and indirect way.My father always encourages me to challenge new thing.When I decided to study abroad,he strongly support me while most of my family member disagreed.He took me to many foreign countries and let me experience different school environment and make the decision myself.My father often asks me to join community activities,summer school to develop my confidence and leadership.My father also participate different charity event and teaches me kindness and compassion.

My first journey to California is in 2014.I visited many beautiful schools there and found my dream school-FSHA. I really wanted to go to FSHA for further study and to experience different life style.It is a really challenging decision because my parents can't come and stay with me .I have to leave my parents and face difficulties in a completely new environment on my own.I know it is really hard but I never regret that decision.

After one years' preparation ,my dream comes true ,Now I am here and start my new life.Although there are plenty of challenge such as language issue,life style,I still enjoys my present life.I make lot of friends, learn many things,my world view incredibly enriched .That journey completely change my life and still influence me deeply.It keeps driving me to challenge myself,to work hard.

Miyazaki Hayao

Mr Hayao is a famous Japanese animated films director.My favorite one is Castle In the Sky.It introduces a moving story that little girl Princess Sheeta found a great castle in the sky with Pazu while they was escaping from a secret government agency.Sheete's courage and will power inspires me to overcome difficulties and pursue my dreams.Mr Hayao animated all contains profound meaning .They reveals the relationship between human and nature and criticize modern society's damage toward nature ,humans greed and selfishness 'through a child perspective.Female character in the film are really educational.Their independence,kindess and courage influences me a lot and teaches me how to be a better

I joined debate club in 7th grade.I was a quiet girl before.i can't even speak a word in front of audience.In order to overcome it,I joined debate club.At first,debate was really hard and seems impossible to me because I have to quickly respond to After that opponent's claim.I can not answer a simplest question.I even considered to quit during that hard time .But with friends and teachers' encouragement and support ,I become much more confident as well as debate skill,critical thinking ability improves day by day.It is also really helpful for my academic and social life.I makes more friends and get better grades easily.The most important ,it changed my mind set,from quiet and shy to confident,competitive and independent.

I joined speech &debate team now and try a completely new type debate which is much harder and more complex.But I believe I can make great progress as long as I keep trying hard and never give up.
