I love music and try to listen as much as possible. I walk around with my Airpods a lot. I also love cooking and play basketball. In the weekend I love being outside with my family.

I've been at LTU for four years and teach in the Urban Water subject. I'm in charge of the course Natural Water Transport Processes and teach in a couple of other water-related courses. I have also developed and given some courses for PhD students, one (Analysis of discrete data in Urban Water Engineering using R) of which is sometimes taken asynchronously on Canvas.

What do you expect to learn in this course?

I expect to learn how to improve online course rooms. I hope this will help me to better support students when they work outside of the classroom. There are two particular cases that I am interested in from my own work - in Natural Water Transport Processes, we have created a bunch of quizzes in Canvas to get students to do exercises and get feedback outside of class. I think that they fulfill this role and we have gotten good feedback from some students, but others find them too hard and time consuming, so I would like to learn what I can do to improve them. Also, the course room for the R course is being used in a way that I did not initially design it for (at first, it was meant to go along with a course with in-person lectures and workshops; while we still do this, several times, students have needed to learn this material at a different time and have followed the course in the room independently). I would like to learn how to improve the room to better support students who use it in this way.

I am responsible for four courses, two on bachelor level and two on master level in applied geochemistry. As a teacher I try to be as helpful as possible, encourage my students by always giving them examples from "the real world" why they should learn this specific information and how they can use it later on in their jobs.
