Aqueducts are made to carry fresh water to cities or other places that need water. Roman aqueducts were made to supply public baths, latrines, fountains and private houses. Water that was waste was used for their sewage systems they then released the wasted/sewage water into nearby water sources. Most aqueducts were carried underground these aqueducts were made of lead and stone. The Romans used lots of aqueducts that by 3 A.D. there was eleven aqueducts in the city they were used for many different things including agriculture, processing and mining.
“Ancient Roman Aqueducts - Crystalinks.” Greek Theatre - Crystalinks, www.crystalinks.com/romeaqueducts.html.

Romans made bridges instead of roads so that they could enable downward force to meet equal force when pushed from the ground.

The Romans created roads for multiple reasons one of these reasons were for trades mostly from Europe though these trades were also done by sea most were through land so it was important to have strong durable roads. These roads were also helpful so that the emperor could quickly send messages to other places easily. The Romans usually built around a natural obstacle instead of through it. When the Romans arrived in England they found no roads but tracks.
Trueman. “Roman Roads.” History Learning Site, History Learning Site, 16 Mar. 2015, www.historylearningsite.co.uk/ancient-rome/roman-roads/.

Roman Columns were made to hold up buildings by having a vertical structural element that transmits through compression. The Romans got the idea of columns from Greek, Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian columns. The Columns were often used to hold up beams, arches, walls, and ceilings. The Roman Columns were very important as it helped hold up aqueducts and some large doors. Columns are upright vertical pillars they were not highly decorated except for the top and bottom. The most used Column in Rome was the Doric Column.
“Roman Columns.” Roman Colosseum, www.tribunesandtriumphs.org/roman-architecture/roman-columns.htm.

There is also a statue of Louvre but with both of her arms not attached. Traditional Roman Sculptures are divided into five categories portraiture, historical relief, funerary reliefs, sarcophagi, and other parts of ancient Greek works.

Roman Pottery started with Etruscan styled pottery but slowly went on to form their own ideas over time. Unlike the Greek the Romans did not paint on there pottery instead they shaped the clay when making it into creative pictures. Most pottery was made in Southern Italy. During the rule of Augustus the Romans wanted to sell something on the silk road so they made many pottery factories. Many of Romans pottery was made with Red like clay and had very sharp and bold images on the side.
“Roman Pottery - Ancient Rome.” Quatr.us Study Guides, Publisher Name Quatr.us Study Guides Publisher Logo, 25 Apr. 2018, quatr.us/romans/roman-pottery-ancient-rome.htm.
