Left hometown, and arrived at Singapore. My new journey began...

Met a caring and responsible teacher who taught me lots of values.

The first time I exploited my eagerness to learn new knowledge and express them in the form of books i folded from paper, and reached my goal: writing a series of 40 "small books"

My mother suggested me it was better if I could program a game, instead of just knowing how to play the game

I learnt the importance of teamwork and leadership.

The reward of perseverance and milestone of effort

I learned how to cope with anxiety and failure.

Enter another new environment, ready to foster more friendship and learn more knowledge in Secondary school

When we move to a new environment, it would be difficult to cope with the adjustments at first, but eventually, we have to get used to the new normal. I left my hometown China, and came to Singapore. At first, I can't even understand English, I had to pick up a completely new language from scratch. From then on, I looked forward to a new beginning.

I started playing the piano since Primary 1. I met numerous challenges, there were even times when I wanted to give up. However, under my mother's encouragement and support, I went on , full steam ahead, meanwhile making playing the piano one of my favourite pastimes. Now, I have achieved Piano Practical Grade 8. That is not only the milestone for my efforts, but also a reward for my perseverance.

This is a monumental milestone, marking the transition into a new "era" of my academic journey. I have made a few friends now, and they reminded me that a new environment leads to new relationships and opportunities for growth. Entering Secondary school, there are more subjects and homework, which made me realize the importance of time management and self control, forcing me to step out of my comfort zone. This is also one of the crucial stepping stones that had been guiding me forward.
