The FDIC was important because it played an important role in stabilizing the banking systems during many periods in America including during the great depression. The government bought livestock for slaughter and paid farmers subsidies not to plant on part of their land. The AAA was important because it helped farmers by raising the prices of crops and paying them for land not used. It brought stability to the industry and raised crop prices at the same time people were being put back to work and could finally afford to purchase food again.
