       Southwest Asia actually has three distinct regions: the Northeast, the Arabian Peninsula, and the Eastern Mediterranean. These regions have their similarities and differences. Some regions participate in different economic activities, contrary to the popular belief that all of the Middle East only produces oil. Food, families, art, religion, etc. are some of the ways that these defined regions of Southwest Asia differ from each other. All in all, there are many cultural differences throughout Southwest Asia that many people overlook.
