I can infer that this is most likely part of her autism spectrum distorter. I know that reading lips can help some kids with autism instead of looking someone directly in the eyes. When Josh compares Caitlin to a dog I started to wonder if anyone other then her close family that live with her know that she's autistic. When they were at the funeral people were touching Caitlin and she doesn't like that and it has to do with her autism. I don't understand why Josh isn't saying sorry for what he did. Even if he didn't know what he did he might as well just say sorry and get it overwith so she would go away. Sometimes thats what some people do if they don't want the person near then because it would get them away faster.
