Since 2021, she has sought out medical professionals and teaching institutions to promote therapies for pulmonary arterial hypertension. In this work, Lisa Brez collaborates with therapy-access managers and educates doctors, nurses, and medical assistants. Further, she conducts educational programs with national thought leaders in the field.

Before her current role, Ms. Brez served as an immunology business manager at Takeda, where she covered a four-state region, promoting blood-plasma augmentation therapies and genetic test kits for an ultra-rare disease. Among her other noteworthy roles, she was a senior district manager at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals and a district manager at Novartis.

Lisa Brez is skilled in communication, leadership, and business planning. She has a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and biology from the University of Kansas.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Brez enjoys drawing, baking, playing golf, and landscaping her yard, and has been a children’s book author and illustrator. In addition, together with her son, she handcrafts chocolate critters filled with pecans and caramel. She started this company, Turtle Bellies, to sell the treats in gift shops, local stores, boutiques, and online.
