Why was I communicating with them?
I worked with my teammates Pierre and Saesha to do the auditions and casting of the performance. we worked well together and were conclusive in our decisions of who got in and who didn't. we had to communicate with each other to make sure the decisions we made were fair and accurate to the needs of the showcase. I believe that we were adequate in our leniency and didn't judge anybody for things that were not in their control as well as this each of us play different instruments so this allowed us to accurately judge people as we had most of the different types of instruments covered this allowed us to communicate more as we knew some people would have more experience than others.
What did I want to achieve?
we wanted to achieve an accurate and fair setlist that properly showcased music through the ages with a particular focus on classical music and I believe that we did this accurately as we have incorporated classical music from all over the world and have a wide range of styles and composers even though many people wanted to play more modern pieces.
Did I resolve any unexpected issues?

I was communicating with them because we had to figure out the most optimal position for everything so that it didn't look to strange when people where performing in groups also taking into account the position of the audience and the feedback from other teachers who were passing through.
What did I want to achieve?
I wanted to achieve an effective position for everything so that it looked good during the performances and to create an effective positioning for the people playing in the showcase
Did I resolve any unexpected issues?
yes me and my colleague resolved the issue of the drum set being in the wrong area making the band section of the showcase feel too spread out across the stage. we did this by moving the drum set towards the centre of the stage and to stop it being to cramped e made sure that there was and even spacing in the performances by having two amps on either side of the drum set.
How am I developing my leadership skills and handling situations appropriately?
I developed my leadership skills by communicating effectively with my peers and the lighting and sound department. this helped m,y ledership because it allowed me to better increase my oracy skills to ultimately help communicating with large crowds and public speaking.
