I am beyond thrilled for you. ACC and our department will have big shoes to fill. I remember when I first met you back in 2010, I was starting off as a counselor at Eastview. You were always so kind to everyone in student affairs. Your energy and passion for students was contagious. When you came around you always seemed happy to be at ACC and teaching our students.As time went on, we started talking a bit more. You were always kind and answered all my questions about the department you worked in. Once I learned you were a former counselor as well, I thought that was the coolest thing ever. One can say, I followed in your footsteps and made the transitions to full time faculty in SDEV. You served as a role model and mentor for this and the many other counselors that would make the transition to our department. Your enthusiasm, mentorship, knowledge, and leadership will be missed. I am grateful I got to cross paths with you at ACC and work with you. I am even more grateful to say I know not only a great faculty member, but an even better human being.
