I think we should have designated 'phone zones' in common areas where students can use phones during breaks. This could help reduce classroom distractions while still acknowledging that phones are part of our daily lives. It's a balanced approach that respects both learning and technology.

I think during the first five minutes of class you should be able to use your phone for that amount of time and when the lecture/activity starts that the teacher has planned, you must put it up either in a designated spot that the teacher has for phones or in your bag and when the lecture/activity is over, you should be allowed to have it out and all for individual work time.

I think that phone use should be up to the teacher with if they allow headphones, it to be out in general ETC. But the exception should be that if you don't get your work done because of your phone then it should be your responsibility to get it done on your own time or if it was due at the end of class the grade you got is on you. If teachers don't want the phones out then I think they should be able to take them up.
