learning to bake cheesecakes for the first time since its been my favourite dessert and i want to learn the recipe so i can make it my own in my free time :p

I made a paper crane:) It doesn't look verryyyy nice because it is my first time folding a paper crane. I struggled with some of the steps because I used a piece of sticky note which was very small, so it was harder for me to perfect every fold.

I made a button toy that can also be used as a destress toy:) So like, I kind of messed up the measurements that's why there is so many gaps between the larger box and the smaller box:< but overall it was quite satisfying

• i learnt abt exporting, and how diff settings can determine the quality of photos

• i learnt abt setting proper exposure for photos, and how to take photos of diff events

i did these types of lego character building for the first time. It required lots of patience to do as the instruction manual was quite confusing due to the lack of explanation, but i managed ro get it after a while. Also, because these pieces are generally much smaller than what i am used to, it was harder to separate them whenever i made a mistake. Overall, it was fun and i managed to learn how to be patient with these kinds of activities

Made mantou. The hardest part was mixing at first, as the dough kept on sticking to my hand and refusing to come together. Adding on to the tiresome work of kneading the dough, my right hand definitely suffered a little that day. However, thankfully after the poofing period, the dough was a lot easier to work with and finally stopped acting glue. I learnt that i should probably not get impatient and judge based of the initial state of the dough, as it got better afterwards.

I learnt how to crotchet a pouch this time. The pattern may be easy, but it takes time to really weave many of the same double crochets together to form the pouch. However, i do think one problem was the strings, as it did not work as smoothly as it did in the tutorial shown. I think that i can better improve it, but overall it was peaceful to crochet, even if it took a long time to complete the piece

Learnt crochet again. This time i attempted to make a flower, but i think the thread was too thin, because the thread kept on refusing to cooperate. This pattern was a tad bit harder as i sometimes lost track of the count for each flower petal, and the fact that i learnt a new method of crocheting called a magic ring and puff stitch that were used in this pattern.

Made a handcraft surprise cake box that opens to reveal a gift!! I got lazy to colour the inside unfortunately, but designed the outside to look like a cake for the birthday theme. The hardest part was decorating the ribbon to look like cake frosting, as i had to keep on twisting and turning them to make them convincing enough. Also due to the fact that i did not measure anything, it cane out looking a little distorted, but otherwise looks decent from afar.

For this sil, i made a fidget thingy out of sticky notes!! It is lowkey very fun to play with so i guess it was a success:> For this origami project, i took a longer time to complete because i had to make many small pieces and assemble them into a fidget. One problem i faced was when assembling, some of the pieces just wouldn't connect to each other and kept popping out which was a bit frustrating, but in the end i made it!!

i tried to create a day in my life short form video for the first time. this video took quite a while (at least an hour) since i never really used capcut before and i needed time to familiarise myself with the tools in the app. i also had to plan out what and when i wanted to film to make the video a little more interesting. 🤩

SS2-vlog. Second Time!

I created a vlog for the second time with the advise and sometimes help of my sister. She was much more experienced in editing. This vlog was originally really bad, now it's much quicker.

All credits go to my sister, genuinely couldn't have done it without her.

I learnt plenty from the editing of this vlog, I have refined my style and what is interesting in a vlog. The original version was so much longer and had so much redundant footage.

It was truly a fun and enriching experience exploring Eunoia JC. I have learnt more about my different interests and what to look for in a JC. I have also encountered many different stories of the seniors there and the demand of the different subjects. Other than that, I have also learnt how to find my way to the school — it was confusing at first, but I gradually found the way with the help of my friends too.
