Out of the three internet sources provided I believe that the most informative was Freedom In The World Survey. The reason that I think this is because of the highly informative and well laid out graphs, as well as the information provided about the global pandemic centered around COVID-19. Compared to the other two articles provided this particular article had more topics touched on and a better layout with it consisting of links with opportunities to learn more and PDF formatted full reports. I would say that an article with more information than others is usually favored amongst others although I will say its not just its additional information over the others that makes me feel like this article was more informative. I feel that the simplicity of the graphs provided are an additional benefit to this article because the graphs provided are simple to interpret and makes the information that's being provided a lot easier to understand. In the Freedom In The World article it covers more length of time with different things impacting global trade, covering as long as 75 years ago. This specific article provides more subtopics therefore more areas I feel were covered, for instance the residence of democracy and a graph that shows the percentage of countries that receive a score decline, unchanged or improved. Lastly the credibility of Freedom In The World publisher has gone on for decades, dating back to 1973, which now provides numerical ratings, descriptive texts for 195 countries and 15 territories.

I found the article on business etiquette around the world to be the most informative. I believe you can learn a lot about people and their cultures through the way they act and the way they expect to be treated. Different etiquette techniques shows just how vast the global trade market really is and how many different cultures are truly involved in the market. Knowing how to act within the various other cultures when it comes to trade, helps us understand how trade practices work in other countries and what these people find to be important. For example, in Europe it is looked down upon to use high pressure sales like we do over in America, most of these business people like to get to know someone first and would like to even go to dinner before making a decision as many of them feel that a personal connection leads to good trade. In Asia, people should avoid using the word no. So all questions should be worded in such a way that people can always say yes. Body language is also just as important as verbal language, so it is important for business people to have a good grasp on their body language skills before interacting with people from these countries in the business world. One interesting thing from Africa that a business person should be aware of if they are going to be trades is that all handshakes must be short, as these people of authority only shake hands longer with people, they are close to. Also, if receiving gifts, only take things with the right hand, as taking anything with the left hand is a sign of disrespect.

Between the three internet resources provided, the article regarding business etiquette was the most informative about global trade. The reason for this is because this article directly discussed business and the best ways to interact with foreign markets. The other articles, however, primarily discussed the fall of democracy and human rights issues. While those are still important to understand when operating in foreign countries, business etiquette is the essential that you need to succeed in those markets. Without business etiquette, operating within other countries could become very difficult as business partners from those countries may feel as if you are being unprofessional and rude which would result in fewer business opportunities. For example, while in America it may be okay to wear jeans for business meetings (depending on the company you work for), in China, it would be seen as rude and unprofessional. Instead, dark neutral-colored suits are the primary attire for business meetings. If a businessperson from America did not understand the business etiquette in China and wore jeans to a meeting, there would be a great possibility that they would not get a second meeting. As the article states, business etiquette an go a long way and mean the difference between what you get out of the deal and what you do not. One form of business etiquette that was rather interesting is business etiquette in the United Kingdom. The article stated that too much eye contract in the UK is considered a bad thing as it makes people uncomfortable. This is interesting because in the US, we are taught that if you are not making eye contact that it is a sign that you are not paying attention or that you simply do not care. Personally, this is right up my alley as I have never been a huge fan of eye contract either. I’ll make occasional eye contact, but other than that, it makes me generally uncomfortable. Another thing that was interesting regarding business etiquette in the UK is that if a business meeting is at a pub, paying for a round of drinks for the group is the polite thing to do. Ideally, this seems like an obvious thing to do if you want to seem appreciative of the business opportunity, but some people may overlook this. As mentioned before, while the other articles can be helpful for understanding current economic and political states in foreign markets, business etiquette is the most informative regarding how to interact within those foreign markets and ensure you get what you want out of the deal.

Out of the three articles, I believe that the one that discusses the most about Global trade is "Business Etiquette Around the World". The article is pretty brief, and it focuses on the key aspects that have to be dealt with. I liked the introduction with an explanation on what etiquette is and how everyone should know the basic concepts about it, but it can differ in every country. The article does a great job in showing how different nations encourage a multicultural workplace and to understand the proper etiquette is very important in order to be successful and make a good impression. With the subject of global trading, it is key to understand someone else's culture in order to conclude a trade or work with someone from a different nation. This is also important to keep a good relationship for future work and building a successful reputation. The article is not very long but it gives a perspective on how to behave in different countries. It focuses on the continents and shows how each country has a different system. Therefore, I think that it is very accurate and gives you a basic knowledge on what you have to do when it comes to Global Trade. While the other two are a good source of information I consider them to be a bit more focused on human rights and specific situations that I could not really connect to global trade. This article had a general view on one of the key aspects of Global Trade and I believe it was the most informative.

Out of the three given articles, I believe that the “Business Etiquette Guide around the world” internet resource is the most informative about global trade. I think that it’s the most informative because unlike the other ones this article discusses the ways to actually interact and be prepared for business around the world. This is an informative writing that will help you be the most successful and most prepared you can be in the real business world in order to get the deals and goals you are chasing. The other two articles “freedom in the world survey” and “country reports on human rights practices” are however very informative on helping you actually understand the world better so you don’t destroy or offend other cultures that you may be in business with. The article “freedom in the world survey” discusses the international tyranny with leaders and how they are crushing other industries. Sarah repucci writes that the activists in these areas are lacking support for people in their communities and communities that are struggling. This article helps you understand global trade in the sense that it is partially corrupt, and you must be aware and fight this corruption. The article “Country reports on human right practices” helps you understand your human right practices within work and business settings. This will help ensure that you’re being treated right no matter religion, color or nationality. This will allow you to participate in your cultural practices without the risk of being fired or it is affecting your income in any sort of way. All three articles were good for helping me in business settings but I believe “business Etiquette guide around the world” helps me understand business readiness and success the most.

Out of the three internet resources provided I believe the last one ‘Business Etiquette Around The World’ was the most useful and informative for me. Although the site may not have as much information as the other sources I found it very straightforward and to the point, it talked about how every country has different etiquette and it can be a key aspect of global trade. Being able to understand other countries' etiquette can give you a competitive advantage whilst in a job or looking for a job. Having this skill in meetings with foregin people or businesses can help in many ways for example; constructing deals, creating mutual respect, and can help communication. In the markets today there are many different businesses from all around the world so it is extremely important for them to be able to communicate with other businesses from different countries so that they can create successful trading lines. It is also important as without business etiquette it may be possible to offend someone from another country without meaning to as they could have different beliefs. The page also does very well in explaining many of the countries etiquettes by presenting the name of the country with a short description of their cultural etiquette. Compared to the other sources I found them more descriptive about human rights and politics, which can be related to global trade. I thought they weren’t as important as ‘Business Etiquette Around The World’ related more to how you can use it in a professional and business situation.

After reading the three articles I think the third one “Business Etiquette Guide Around The World” is the one that for me best illustrates and talks about global trade. I think that the first two “Freedom In The World Survey” And “Country Reports On Human Rights Practices” have good recourses and they are good articles to learn about global trade but what made me choose “Business Etiquette Guide Around The World” is the topic they use “Etiquette”

Etiquette is a complex topic to explain because every country has a different Etiquette, so a different way to behave is required. I think that the topic they choose is perfect. In my opinion, to make a good deal that will benefit your company or the company you work for you must start the best way possible; that is what etiquette gives us. Pages and articles like this will help us know what the other part of the deal is expecting from us depending on the country they are from. Once we know how they behave we can prepare for the deal to go the smoothest way possible. Etiquette is not only used to have a great start with the negotiations you will use it to maintain that deal over time, so the deal can last.

Me being from another country, I give more importance to Etiquette because I see the difference in how we act different between situations, the way we dress, or even the way we meet and greet other people is different, that is why I chose etiquette.

Between the three articles I have read I think that the business etiquette is the most complete, and the one that attains more to the topic of global trading. It is very easy to understand too, and it goes over the social interactions between different countries in the world.

It is also interesting knowing how to approach with people who come from a different continent when it comes to the multicultural workplace, and how different is your level of business knowledge when it is compared to someone else's. That said it was great getting to know how certain countries have adopted a behavior that differs from the one of other nations. For example, I read interesting stuff on China's etiquette that extremely differs from the etiquette of my country Italy. Things like punctuality or "do not point with your fingers" are all new to me that is why I was really surprised once I finished to read them.

Each country listed has different traditions, cultures, and behaviors that make it unique in the whole business etiquette around the world and this is what it makes this article more interesting and better to read, especially for someone like me who have scarce knowledge on this stuff.

The other two articles were longer than this and both of them just focused on one topic mainly. For example, the second resource gives an explanation about the human rights practices made by the U.S. Department of State. It sounds more like an important law that the U.S. government emitted in order for the citizens to understand the importance of the human right in terms of work, life, health and difficult conditions in the past like the advent of the Covid-19.

Less but not least, I think that the etiquette business article gives a better explanation about the concept of global trading and it also keeps you more connected with the diversity in the world, and it helps you to handle important relationships with new people that are different from you.

First of all, I want to talk about how effective the three of these websites look at first glance. Freedom In The World Survey is a .org website, which stands for "Organization" and has been establish in 1985 giving more credibility than others. With Country Reports On Human Rights Practices, it happens something similar to the first one, but in this case, it is a .gov website, which is even more credible. The last one, "Business Etiquette Guide Around The World", is a .com and is the least credible from the three of them. These does not mean that one is better than the other or one has better information than the other one. As long as they have all the references available, every website is useful.

After checking every website, I believe that the one that is more informative of the three is “Freedom in the World Survey”. This was not only said because the website is an organization website and its information is more reliable. Then, it made some clear points on how different countries worked through Covid-19 and how the managed to regrow the lost in various countries’ economies. It also showed a graph were the amount of countries that are free was pictured as a time lowest, meaning that countries should start to implement global trade to work how they are doing at the moment due to the current pandemic that it is still affecting the economy world wide and it looks like it might do for a while.

In week 1, I found “Freedom of the world” the most informative internet resource about global trade because they made it really easy to find what countries have free trade and which ones don’t! With access to the new Freedom in the World 2022: The Global Expansion of Authoritarian Rule, shows just how much worlds freedom is declining. I really like how easy it makes finding any of the country’s info on Global Freedom Score, Internet Freedom Score and Democracy Scores. It shows that liberal democracy, a form of self government in which human rights are recognized and every individual is entitled to equal treatment under the law are being attacked. The global freedom scores have showed a decline of 16 years with the present threat to democracy. 60 countries have suffered declines Over the years, while 25 countries improved. Authoritarian regimes and institutions have become more effective in support of basic liberties. The global population that live in non free countries is at 38%, the highest since 1997, With 20% living in free countries. Even countries with long established Democracies have shortcomings in their systems exploited by internal forces. The authoritarian model will prevail if global order does not get in to order To help guarantee freedom for all people they will prevail. I really like this one the most because they take the overall score awarded for political rights and the overall score awarded for civil liberties determining their status of free, partly free or not free. I was surprised at some of the countries freedom!
