They eventually hook up a water line and they now have fresh water. Peyton,Mark's daughter, had her eyes badly damaged from the flash of the bombs and she had them bandaged up by the doc shortly after the bombs dropped. Luckily she was expected to make a full recovery from the doc's assessment. There were multiple casualties but the doc made it out alive. The clinic itself was completely ransacked and there was nothing left that could be considered useful medically. Another problem that occurred was the death of Lavinia McGovern. This lady was the mother of Lib McGovern and she died from diabetes.
