         <description><![CDATA[<div>Note taking is imperative to be good at once you get to college because:<br>- there is a lot more notes in college then high school<br>-&nbsp; helps you stay focused on the question at hand&nbsp;<br>-they help you study for exams and quizzes&nbsp;<br>-&nbsp; actively engaging in them after class will help for memory recall<br>There are a few different types of ways that you can do note taking and they are:&nbsp;<br>-&nbsp; Cornell<br>- &nbsp; Outlining&nbsp;<br>- &nbsp; Concept mapping/ mind mapping &nbsp;<br>You can also take notes on maps and papers&nbsp;<br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Try to re-enact, as close as possible, the actual testing conditions and time constrains when studying.  You can even try to do a practice test in the test room if possible.&nbsp;<br>- If possible, try and see what might be on the test&nbsp;<br>- Study environment can have a great impact on your studying for an exam like:&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;- if you have less distractions around&nbsp;you&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;-&nbsp; cleaner area to study&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; - where you are at&nbsp;<br>-Having idea clusters may help as well like having a song&nbsp; to go along with it or a phrase&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- When you get to the testing area try to take a few deep breaths&nbsp;<br>- Try to not let classmates interrupt your calming routine<br>- Try and arrive early to the testing area&nbsp;<br>- The best way to control test anxiety is to just be prepared for it because that is what you can control<br>-&nbsp; During the test try and do the questions you know first and then do the questions you don't know&nbsp;<br>- It is a good idea to allow yourself, at the end of the test, to look over it to make sure you answered every question<br>-Read directions they are important for you to follow&nbsp;<br>- Answer every required question<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Solving Problems Effectively</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Having a problem solving skill is a great thing&nbsp;<br>-If you do have a good problem solving skill it is a good idea to keep on using it through out your life&nbsp;<br>-Always try to find a solution to everything you're having a problem with, like homework&nbsp;<br>-It is always a good idea to have multiple solutions to problems so that if one falls through, like plans that where canceled, another can take its place like more study time<br>-Try and use the three most common problem solving types&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; - critical thinking&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; -creative thinking&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; - analytical thinking&nbsp;<br>-Keep trying to figure out a problem even if it takes a few hours&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
