CONGRATULATIONS!

YOU SIX HAVE BEEN AWARDED A GRANT TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR FIRST ERAMUS+ MOBILITY.

Some of you already know me, but others still don't, so I'll introduce myself.

I'm Amelia, the Eramus+ project coordinator and one of the teachers who will be travelling with you to Malta.

First of all, I would like to thank you for taking part in this project and making this mobiliby come true. We're all really excited about it.

Secondly, the "bad" news. Since the mobility won't cost you an arm and a leg, you'll have to do some work for us - don't panic, it won't take up too much of your free time.

You'll have to start by introducing yourself on this wall and uploading a photo of yourself, as I've already done.

We'll keep you posted on what you'll need to do before our departure, during our trip and on our return home.

In the meantime, you should start sorting out what to pack and what to leave behind.

Wow, this is going to be a hard challenging to me!

I’m Roberto one of the participants in this Erasmus +project . Therefore, the first I’m graceful to School for so much effort to get this mobility. I wish I could rise to the challenge. I’ll try to be my best. In two weeks we’ll be flying towards Malta I’m looking forwards to being there. By the way, what will the weather be like there? We should look the forecast, although I think it’s too early yet. Well, I wish we had a fantastic good time.

Hello, I'm Elena Revilla.
I am very glad and thankful for having been selected in this amazing program, even more when I was number seven in the list...
I like traveling and learning new languages. In fact, this year I've started taking German classes with Antonio who teaches us in an unusual learning method without using books.
I love English too, for this reason I was looking forward the opportunity to participate in a linguistic program such as Erasmus+. I really think I needed it!
I wish we enjoy the experience in Malta. I'm pretty sure that we will.

I'm studying English B1 and my teacher is Virgina.
My daughter travelled to Malta in August for a week. She told me that there's very good Italian food like pasta and fish.

I'm Juan.

You´ll never believe this, but after quite a few years last september I decided it was time to return to study English because it was “getting rusty” so I decided to enroll in a course at EOI. I made up my mind to take it seriously and I think this has been a prize, a gift of fate, in any case a chance I won´t miss.

Apart from learning English listening (and even singing) old songs, I am fascinated by history. I have already started my trip to Malta: I have started reading about this island and I´m discovering a lot of stories and anecdotes that I would like to share with you all. I would love to be the historian of the group.

Did you know the word “Malta” comes from the Greek μέλι, which means “honey”? They called the archipelago Μελίτη (Melite), which translates as “sweet as honey”.

I´m sure this is going to be a very sweet experience 😉 See ya on Friday!!

I’m Teresa de Prado, the Language School principal.

After months of hard work, I’m really happy that the first mobility of our Erasmus+ project is finally going to materialize.

I hope this experience will help the participants improve their language skills, as well as promote our school’s intercultural awareness.

  Did you know Maltese language is considered the national language of Malta and one of the official languages in EU? Unlike English and Spanish, which are Indo-Europeans, Maltese is a Semitic language derived from Arabic and the only one written in latín characters. 
It has received strong influences from many different languages, 60% Italian and Sicilian, taking into account that maltese archipelago is located in the centre of Mediterranean Sea, Maltese has had a peculiar evolution. 

Some linguists say that Maltese is unclassifiable,
