the website contains a lot of information about history and artifacts about London.

One of the interesting things I looked at was a stone age skull rescued from the river Thames, it seems like something interesting to document about but I am not sure if its something I really want to make a documentary about an object that is really small, I would rather document about something that is big and more fascinating, something that will catch the audiences eye and bring their attention and curiosity to the subject.

I want to use a tripod and possible a gimbal.

Sound: I want to use a radio mic so that when film everything is not tangled up and it gives the interviewee more freedom to show and explain certain things.

Camera style: i want a lot of close ups showing details also wide shot to give a nice view to the audience. I'll be doing pan shots, following action and doll. I'll leave the camera on manual focus so i have control of the focus.

The church itself was built in the early 12th century and survived unscathed until the Great Fire of London in 1666. Although the fire seriously damaged the church, it was not severe enough to warrant a complete rebuild.

In 1941 the church was completely gutted in the Blitz of the Second World War and lay in ruins for the next 25 years; in fact, the only parts of the church that were left unscathed were Wren’s tower and steeple. Eventually, the City of London Corporation decided to incorporate the ruins into a garden in 1967, and it was opened to the public in 1971.

There is particularly programme which is called The Watchman that streams in a television network called TBN where you can also watch it on YouTube and it is roughly 27 minutes per episode. In these episodes, the host goes around significant holy sites mentioned in the Bible in Israel and speaks to archaeologists and tour guides and they speak about the place and the events that occurred in the particular sites and discussing mysteries and the prophets that once stood there. In this programme, you learn a lot of interesting things on how people 2,000 years ago lived and what were their traditions and way of life. 


So from this inspiration, I want to create a piece of a short documentary interviewing a historian or someone knows church well and have them speak about what happened to the church, why is the place unique, how it became an attraction point also how the church transitioned from a burnt and dreadful place and into a beautiful garden where people can go and visit have lunch.

In this documentary I want him to talk about himself, I also want him to express his passion for music, about what keeps himself motivated. I this project I want to film him performing one of his songs by himself with a nice background with a nice light setup with different shot angles.
The concept of this project is to bring a positive message across to motivate individuals to chase their dreams, work on their mental health and have a positive mindset in order to have a healthy lifestyle.

I tried lit my object and background to get a nice decent colour ambient so that it looks clear on camera so i can the do some colour grading.

I took my notepad and took some annotations of everything he has done, starting off from how everything started and how he has evolved throughout the years since he started. We spoke about how gets his inspiration from, what keeps him going and what keeps him motivated.
I made sure I got as many information I need so the documentary can be interesting. Asking him questions in the pre-interview to note down, I asked him examples of what I was asking.

On this day it was planned to shoot the interview with Tex at the studio but unfortunately, the studio wasn’t available for us to film the interview so therefore I decided to shoot the cutaways so it wouldn't be another wasted day.

So as we were going to film the interview I verified that the light was good for the shoot. I was getting some natural light and the room lights, I was getting more natural light and it was a bit tricky to figure out what position tex should’ve positioned because of the natural light coming through the window as it was creating shadow from the left side of his face but right side of his face on the camera. On the day as well I had brought LED mounted light to put on top of the NX100, I tried to see if it made a difference to try and take a little bit of the shadow of his face but the natural light was taken over but I still managed to get a bit of a clear image and it didn’t look too dark so I guess it was alright.

Various attributes of an image such as contrast, colour, saturation, detail, black level, and a white point may be enhanced whether for motion pictures, videos, or still images. Colour grading is very important when fixing exposure problems and having to correct an image that isn't clear enough,  It has the potential to elevate a good image to great, or a great image to outstanding.
