         <title>Whiskey Rebellion - George Washington</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Whiskey Rebellion was a rebellion started by farmers because of the taxes on whiskey. As soon as George Washington heard about the rebellion, he had sent 15,000 troops to the rebellion and by the time the troops arrived, the rebellion had disbanded. This action proved that under the new government, they had lots of power and could enforce laws.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Jay's treaty was rejected by France because they thought that the Americans were shipping goods to Britain so they seized American ships. Due to that, John Adams sent three agents known as the XYZ to negotiate with the French Minister. However, the minister refused to met the three agents and demanded a bribe and loan from American which made Adams furious and prepared for war.</div>]]></description>

Adams had the power to imprison those who he found dangerous and kick out of the country too.  Finally, it was considered a crime and you could go to prison for publishing and saying false information about the government. </div>]]></description>

They sent back animals and sent back words of what they found in the land. Upon returning from their journey, they encouraged people to move westward.</div>]]></description>
