*I believe data will be my biggest ally while consulting and collaborating with other stakeholders to support my school counseling program. I must educate teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians about the ASCA model, explain the benefits, and present data to show the program's effectiveness.

*To build relationships, I will collaborate and coordinate by offering training and demonstrating open communication. With administrators, I will show that the ASCA model is how we achieve the school's goals and vision statement.

*When implementing my vision statement, it will be important to remember that positive change in school culture does not happen overnight. It will be a process involving education, development of policy, procedure, and standards, and buy-in from the staff and administration.

Changes made today will support students academically, emotionally, and in their careers for years to come.

*The ASCA Ethical Standards will shape my work as a school counselor by providing guidelines for my responsibility to students, parents/guardians, school, colleagues, and myself.

*A data-informed program is needed to ensure collaboration with parents, colleagues, and outside resources, resulting in student development, confidentiality, academics, mindsets, and behaviors (ASCA, 2019).

*These standards ensure the highest integrity, leadership, and professionalism is maintained.

*Successful implementation of these guidelines is when systemic change will occur, and all students will see success in academics, career, and social/emotional development.
