So where Malala lived, when a girl was born, it was considered a bad day. Only the birth of the boys was admired or celebrated. 
With the growth of the Taliban movement after the Cold War, it was implemented that women have to wear burqas, live inmates at home and could only leave accompanied by a family man. Men, on the other hand, would have to keep their beards and wear characteristic clothes. 
Thus, several citizens' rights, as well as their freedom, were revoked.

So she was a resident of Pakistan. She studied at Khushal School, where she attended six mornings a week. The girl was very fond of studying and was competitive when it was to receive school awards.
She lived in a small, simple house with her parents and two brothers. When she was born, her family was very poor: she lived in a two-room hut, without a bathroom or kitchen. 
The girl had created a blog on the internet, in which she wrote anonymously about her reality in the country and also about the defense of women's rights. (Mainly in relation to education, due to the influence of her father, who was a teacher).

As much as many did not consent to the idea of girls going to school, the girl was dedicated to pursuing her dream: building her future as a politicion. She was very inspired by the first female Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto (killed by the Taliban). 
For Malala, school was her world, and her world was school. (after all, she grew up in a school).

Malala, one day, was returning from school by bus. One of the Taliban men stopped the vehicle and demanded to know the name of each child. Everyone shut up for a moment, the man smothered his gun and shot the girl.  
It was a near-death experience when the bullet hit her in the face.

However, the opposite occurred than they expected: Malala became known worldwide and began to have a voice. 
With this, in the present, she received the Nobel Peace Prize, makes speeches to the UN, meets with several political leaders and today has the Malala fund (which guarantees the right to education in the most inhospitable places). She has a big role in bringing education to the bands of war and giving voice to the kidnapped Nigerian girls in her country. 
The girl is currently 24 years old and lives with her parents in England. Four years ago, she attended Oxford University.
