She enjoyed 25 years in private practice working with children as well as adults before retiring three years ago. She was a longtime member of the New Jersey Psychological Association and sat on the foundation board. Dr. Grosshans received a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Cincinnati. In addition, she holds a master’s degree and a PhD in psychology from The Ohio State University in Columbus. Dr. Beth Grosshans concentrated her doctoral studies on clinical child psychology and wrote her thesis on the process of grief in parentally bereaved children. Enhancing her expertise in the field, she also completed training in intensive short-term psychotherapy and dynamic psychotherapy. Dr. Grosshans put her expertise to work at various institutions throughout her career, including The Ohio State University Child Guidance Center, Harding Hospital, and Boston Children’s Hospital. In 1994, she launched a private practice in Flemington, where she provided psychotherapy and case management to client children, adults, and families.
