Before this unit, I learned that the Treaty of Versailles cost Germany a lot, and it was an indirect factor in the Second World War caused by Germany. Also, I learned that this meeting was taking place in Versailles, and the three main countries were the United States, France, and the United Kingdom.&nbsp;<br>Question #2: How does the video Extend your learning about WWI?<br>These videos specifically told me what the result of the Treaty of Versailles and Germany's losses that I didn't know before. In the second video, it mentioned that Germany was not allowed to have more than 100000 men in its army, no more than 6 battleships, no submarines, and no air forces. Besides that, Germany had a total cost of 132 million gold marks, which is a huge number that their country at that time could not afford.<br>Question #3: How does the video Challenges the things you know so far?<br>These videos challenged a lot of what I believed before. Before I looked at this video, I thought that if France, the United Kingdom, and the United States (which were all allied powers in WWI) were negotiating with each other, they should have the same idea or the same benefit to achieve. However, in the first video, it mentioned that France wants to punish Germany a lot, the United Kingdom wants to retain some power over Germany, while the United States wants to balance the power of Germany, the United Kingdom, and France. They have very mutually exclusive views. That shows, even though they were allies in the war, they still have different thinking and goals to achieve.</p>]]></description>
