Firstly, in groups we did a series of "games" in which we had to organise concepts correctly; the more correct answers, the more marks we got for the final grade. During the second part of the class, we organised ourselves as a group for the preparation of the creative video.

I find the way of learning knowledge through dynamic group activities very interesting. This made me realize that the majority of us did not have the same opinions about the topic, on whether motivation influences the improvement of the language acquisition or if learning a language is more effective the younger you are and so on.

It has been a way to put into practice our previous knowledge about the subject while also learning about it. Competitive games and teamwork always make us more focused and attentive to the subject.

I must emphasize that we always get told that as teachers we must find the best methodology to carry our lessons, looking for students motivation and participation, but most of the classes always end up being traditional "read, white, copy and listen". It was interesting because I did not know about all of them. I was assigned a group to carry out an activity about the Notional-Functional method, which is actually quite fun to do.
We learnt about the parts of a method like the design, the procedure and the techniques. 
I must say that working in teams motivates me and I get to memorise everything better, I don’t know why, but it just makes the lesson much more interesting.

The first one was yo continue with an activity in group, in the the second part of the class we played a kahoot where we could demonstrate our knowledge learnt during previous classes. I was impressed by this as my team won and I wasn't aware of how much theory I knew about different teaching methods.
In the final session, we watched our videos that we had made about age, attitude and motivation. It was fun to see my classmates creativity for this project.

A part that I didn't enjoy was correcting my classmates with the rubric as I would love to give them good marks and it is quite difficult to be critical towards them. However, it's something I must do as I will have to do this in the future with my students.

Overall, I am enjoying the course this year. I am improving, learning and obtaining knowledge in a dynamic way which makes me think of how I wish to teach when I become a teacher. As I am a person who can occasionally struggle with concentration for long periods of time, it is  interesting to make the learning process fun through games and figuring out the answers or possible outcomes ourselves instead of simply studying theory. In my case, public speaking at conferences or exhibitions is something I do not usually like doing because I feel embarrassed and I get very nervous. 

But this time, I actually quite liked it because everyone was silent and paying attention to what we were saying and explaining. 

Obviously to prepare the classes we had to make some research and read about some factors that interfere in the teaching and learning of a foreign language, so usually when this happened you are always afraid that you might forget something, but the truth is that everything went very well and it was a satisfying experience for me.
