Welcome to Law & Public Safety Page, I am Mr. Burnett and I am very excited to facilitate my students in learning criminal justice. In Law & Public Safety we cover many aspects of criminal justice theory and practice.

Meet your teacher: I have 25 years of service at a local Police Department where I gained experience as an Investigator working crimes against persons including homicide, assaults and robbery. I hold a Masters Degree in Criminology from the University of Texas at Arlington and am an Alumni of member of the Homicide Investigators of Texas. I enjoy seeing young people get excited about the world of criminal justice and want to help them accomplish their goals.
