The sea is part of the identity and culture of our town, and talking about it allows us to discover the richness of the fauna, flora and marine resources that surround us. In addition, the project promotes environmental awareness and respect for the marine environment, teaching children the importance of caring for and protecting our natural resources. Through different activities, such as games, stories, trips and experiments, children can develop their curiosity, their observation skills and their sense of discovery.

Some of the activities carried out included: a visit to Pixavaques beach and a talk about the posidonia by the environmental technician from the Town Council, a visit to the Ametlla de Mar Fishermen's Guild and conversations with fishermen, a visit to the tourist office and a storytelling session with ‘La dofí Dofina’.

The final challenge will consist of designing and programming a robot capable of solving a task related to a current problem with the sea. This task may include the simulation of underwater rescues, the cleaning of plastics from the sea, the study of marine life using sensors, the observation and conservation of marine life, etc. Students solve technical problems, think creatively and apply their scientific knowledge to achieve the objective.
