AVID should be continued to be funded because it is beneficial to students who need the help and guidance for college. It helps and prepares AVID bound students for what is expected of future colleges. It has definitely helped me throughout high school due to no parental guidance. I did not know what I was doing because neither of my parents received any sort of higher level education.
