Global populations of animals have fallen 58% between 1970 and 2012. if this continues more than 2/3 of our vertebrates will be gone by 2020. The numbers dropping show that animals that live in lakes, rivers, and wetlands are facing the worst drops. Some people think that the growing human populations, habitat loss, hunting, and climate change are some of the reasons that there is a huge drop in animal population. People want to change this and I think it will work.
