I am taking it easy this summer because last summer was a whirlwind with getting married and buying a house. This summer we're going to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary and then RELAX in our home with the doggies!  
I have really enjoyed this course and I am actually a little sad it is already halfway over.

Rushmore!

My last day of work was on my birthday, May 30th. My kids last day was June 7th. We are all officially on summer break!! WOO HOO!!
Next week on the 12th and 13th, I am taking my family and mom to Disneyland for my daughters 8th grade grad present. Then at the end of June, on the 28th, we all are driving back to Texas to visit my brother for a couple weeks and a couple days in Oklahoma to visit my moms aunts and cousins!
This course is so informative, and there is so much to take in, I kind of wish it was a longer course in order to soak up all the great tech tools we have learned, on the flip side, I am so looking forward to the summer break from all schools!

I'm blown away by all the technology resources that I had no idea even existed! I'm thrilled to be sharing them with my team at our summer planning meeting!  And looking forward to trying some out with my 4th grade class next year! 
I am counting down the days til the World Cup kicks off! I've got 64 games to watch in the next month! I can't wait!  For all of my fellow soccer fans... I've attached a little something! :)

The padlet tool is so cool! I'm excited to officially start summer vacation on Friday. The kids last day is Wednesday. I'm sad to see my students go, but ready to send them off for new adventures. 
Unfortunately we are ending our school year with "work to rule", and a possible strike when we come back. We haven't had a contract since the 2016-2017 school year. We're all hoping this can be avoided. My first trip of summer is our annual Father's Day camping trip to Fort Bragg, can't wait to relax on the beach! Happy summer everyone!
