10TH AMENDMENT
The Governor said that the 10th Amendment protected his right to segregate because nowhere in the Constitution does it explicitly say "schools must be integrated". And since that is not stated in the Consitution, it is then a power delegated to the states. Since Faubus is the leader of Arkansas, he gets the right to decide whether to integrate or not, or, in his case, when to integrate/only integrate when forced after the S.C case.
