Hi !
My name is Catarina and I'm twenty one years old. I am a portuguese student,Polytechnic Institute of Santarém which has the dream of being a teacher. I attend the first year of the master's degree in Teaching 1st cycle and Mathematics and Natural Sciences 2nd cycle.
I love the areas of physical science and mathematics.
I like challenge and that's why I think this course is going to be fun.

I confess that a few years ago I had used the social network, Twitter.  But the truth is that it did not arouse much interest to me, because it is not a great majority of the tweets that I saw did not interest me. In the course of this module I created a new account, but this time for use during the course. The truth is that from the tool is difficult to share various news, experiences, difficulties that arise. I thus highlight Twitter as a good tool for work and professional development when it is used by a large number of people.

Over the years as techologies for a part of the everyday li of children. More anda more children are using tecnologies since a lot of new, use for many different features for games, surveys, watch videos, etc. In my opinion the students should not take the tablets, computers and mobile phones for schools, because many schools have different technologies that students can use.

Reflect on the classroom setup

I believe that the learning environment, as well as the strategies used by the teacher are very important for the students to be motivated, to carry out more learning. As a future teacher, the strategies and the organization of the room are aspects that I have much in mind in the stages because when innovating the students will be more motivated and thus will be able to increase their school use.

Before starting this course I already had an account in Pinterest, where I keep various resources, mainly mathematics and science. I use these resources to produce resources for the internships. I can say that they are a source of imagination. I take some resources to produce my own resources.

I never participated in a student or pupil exchange project.But in my opinion I think it is important to have these projects so that the students can share experiences and learn from other students.

Khan Academy

In stage context I used a learning tool that was successful, this tool is Khan Academy. I used the Khan Academy to explore some videos with students about calculation strategies. Students independently or in pairs viewed videos and performed some tasks. To explore this tool I organized the activity in advance to be able to access the students' results as a way of evaluating it. It was a very interesting activity, since the students were very motivated, because they used the tablets. From this activity the students learned and managed to have fun at the same time.
