This is a clip of my band "Fleas" playing a live radio session for BBC Introducing Norfolk & Suffolk in early March. We played 3 songs then did a live interview talking about our plans for our new album and our history as a band. This was a great opportunity to promote ourselves as this is a popular radio show in our local scene and it was a good way to expose ourselves to new listeners.

Networking for a Gig

This is a screenshot of me setting up a gig at The Pipeline in April with Molly, another student. She was looking to start work as a promoter and asked artists to get in contact with her so I saw this as a good opportunity to get my band our first gig in Brighton. She also asked us to support her band "Edging" at a future date since we have similar influences in our music, hopefully leading to even more gigs down the line.

Gig in Bury St Edmunds

Here's a recent show we played supporting Pet Needs, our second gig with them. They're a popular punk rock band based in Colchester and their newest album peaked in the top 20 on the UK album charts. Playing with them was a very fun experience and this was a good opportunity to expose ourselves to their fans.

Practice Session

This is us practicing one of our songs "Blunt Force Trauma" for that Pet Needs gig. Our singer couldn't make it to this one due to a clash with his job so we just ran the song without vocals. I took this time to test out some new fills I'd been working on that weren't on the original recording, such as the section during the buildup to the breakdown where I tried a combination of tom rolls and ride bell hits reminiscent of "Welcome to Paradise" by Green Day.
