After earning a bachelor’s degree in law and justice from the College of New Jersey, Adrian J. Poux began his tenure with the Amtrak Police Department in Philadelphia. While there, he was nominated for the prestigious silver star award. In his five years with the department, he received recognition for his response during the 9/11 attacks and various biological threats. He also left the department without sustaining any injuries. He went on to enjoy a career of over a decade with the Lower Makefield Township police force. He was actively involved with the Bucks County Major Incident Response Team. After retiring from the township in 2014, he obtained a position with Lock Haven University. In this role, he investigated cases of driving under the influence, and received a Top Gun award for his efforts.
