Brushes, like so much other discarded plastic, frequently end up in rivers and oceans.

Bamboo Toothbrush- Bamboo toothbrushes are environmentally friendly because the bamboo handles are 100% biodegradable. This means that they can be broken down naturally over time. They can also be recycled if the soft nylon bristles are removed.

Pencils- i use mostly mechanical pencils which the majority of mechanical pencils are made of polystrene. A standard mechanical pencil consumes approximately 22 grams of oil, not to mention the energy, water, and chemicals used in production. And the packaging is almost always discarded.

Wooden Pencil- The main advantage of a wooden pencil is that it is not made of plastic. This means that producing the raw pencil material requires less energy. The wooden pencil will eventually degrade into a pile of shavings that can potentially be composted.

All single-use items- plastic bags, one-use forks, knives, and throw-away napkins/paper towels. Every year, Americans use over 561 billion individual plastic utensils. These items are difficult to recycle and, like all plastics, end up in our environment, landfills, and incinerators.

REUSABLE- reusable lunch box, cloth napkins, plant-based forks/knives. One of the primary environmental advantages of disposable wooden utensils is that they can be composted. The majority of the carbon and nutrients stored in wood are reused in soil and plants thanks to composting. This means that less CO2 is released into the atmosphere and nutrients are recycled.

They can emit heavy metals and other toxins that can end up in water supplies, rivers, and even the oceans. Plastics are included; almost all plastics used in electronics are not biodegradable, though they can be recycled.

Taking notes on Paper- Paper is made from trees from sustainably managed forests, which are a renewable resource.
