The plot of Radium Girls is about the mistreatment of the dial painters in the 1920s who were not told that they were ingesting radium when they licked their paintbrushes to get them to a point. This caused them to go through several legal battles as they were slowly decomposing. I played the lawyer for the workers, which really opened my eyes to the importance of being honest and protecting those in the workplace. After working I have come to realize the importance of a group effort while making other's food. The only way for service to flourish is if everyone works together.
