         <description><![CDATA[<div>Naples is one of the cities near our village that we love so much.</div><div>Naples is the regional capital of Campania and the third-largest municipality in Italy after Rome and Milan. <br>The city is situated on the Gulf of Naples ,on the western coast of Southern Italy; it lies between two notable volcanic regions, Mount Vesuvius and the Campi Flegrei. The islands of Procida, Capri and Ischia can all be reached  from Naples by hydrofoils and ferries. Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast are situated south of the city, while the Roman ruins of Pompei, Herculaneum, Oplontis and Stabiae, which were destroyed in the eruption of Vesuvius are also visible nearby.<br>Naples is one of the most ancient cities in Europe, whose contemporary urban fabric preserves the elements of its long and eventful history.<br>the main square of  the city is the Piazza del Plebiscito. It is bounded on the east by the Royal Palace and on the west by the church of San Francesco di Paola. Nearby there is the Teatro of San Carlo, which is the oldest opera house in Italy.<br>Naples is well known for its historic castels: one of the most important castels is Castel Nuovo, also known as MASCHIO ANGIOINO; it was built during the time of Charles I, the first king of Naples.<br>The Cathedral of Naples is the city's premier place of worship; each year on 19 September, it hosts the longstainding Miracle of Saint Januarius, the city's patron saint.<br>Underneath Naples lies a series of caves and structures created by centuries of mining.<br>Neapolitan cuisine is synonymus with pizza. This originated as a meal of the poor, but under Ferdinand IV it became popular among the upper classes: the Margherita pizza was named after Queen Margherita of Savoy after her visit to the city.<br>Spaghetti is also associated with the city and is commonly eaten with the sauce ragù.<br>Naples is well known for its sweet dishes, like zeppole,babà,sfogliatelle and pastiera.<br>The popular Neapolitan folkloric symbol is the comic figure PULCINELLA; this masked characteris is worldwide famous figure as a theatrical character.<br>The Naples language, considered to be a distinct language and mainly spoken in the city, is also found in the region of Campania<br>and has been diffused into other areas of Southern Italy.<br>A popular traditional dance in Southern Italy and Naples is the TARANTELLA, originated in the Apulia region.<br>Naples has had significant influence on Italian cinema. This city is the home of a famous comedic actor, Antonio De Curtis, called by all TOTO'.<br>An Italian saying says: "See Naples and then die", to underline the beauty of this city<br> <br><br> <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>MATERA         (Anita e Arianna)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One of nearest city of my village is Matera.<br>Matera was founded by the Romans in the 3th century BC, with the name of MATHEOLA.<br>Matera is very old, and it's famous because the houses are built with white stones, called TUFO.<br>The town lies in a small canyon carved out by the Gravina.<br>Matera is in the Italien region, in Basilicata, and it has got prehistorie origins.<br>There are many old caves and archaeological sites.<br>In the past Matera was considered a city very poor and backwork, infact a popular politician called it national shame.<br>After Matera spent a period of misery, and in 1993 suddenly its stones were recognized World Heritage from Unesco.<br>Today Matera is one of most beautiful city of Italy, its many museums and churches, and often many films are set there.<br>One of the most important monuments is the Matera Cathedral (1268/1270) dedicated to SANTA MARIA DELLA BRUNA in 1389.<br>Built in a Apulian Romanesque architectural style, the church has a 52 m. tall bell tower, and next to the main gate there is a statue of the MARIA DELLA BRUNA.<br>Two other important churches in Matera, both dedicated to the Apostle Peter, are SAN PIETRO CAVEOSO (in the sasso Caveoso) and SAN PIETRO BARISANO (in the sasso Barisano).<br>San Pietro Barisano was recently restored in a project by the World Monuments Fund, funded by American Express.<br>There are many other churches and monasteries.<br>Some are simple caves with a single altar and maybe a fresco, often located on the opposite side of the ravine.<br>Some are complex cave networks with large underground chambers. <br>Matera appears in the music videos for the songs: Sun Goes Down by Robin Schulz and Spit Out the Bone by Metallica.<br>Matera is similar to Jerusalem.<br>Infact the famous film the passion of mel gibson was filmed there.<br>Also other famous films like:<br>-Mel Gibson's <em>THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST</em><br>-Garth Davis's MARY MAGDALENE<br>-Catherine Hardwicke's THE NATIVITY STORY<br>-Bruce Beresford's KING DAVID <br>Other movies filmed in the city include:<br>-Mario Volpe's LE DUE SORELLE<br>-Roberto Rossellini's GARIBALDI<br>-Brunello Rondi's IL DEMONIO<br>-Nanni Loy's MADE IN ITALY.....<br>In 2019 it is proclamed "EUROPEAN CAPITAL OF CULTURA".<br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Bari is the capital of Apulia.There are many fantastic green spaces where children can play safety, There are also tourist attractions, theatres and there is the sea. “Petruzzelli” theatre is a theatre, now rebuilt. The “University of Bari Aldo Moro” is a higher education in Bari, Apulia, in Southern Italy. The “University of Bari” was founded in 1925.It is state-supported university which is divided into 12 faculties. Each faculty has its own set of departments that focus on the arts sciences, mathematics, social sciences, literature, medicine, low and education .The University of Bari is one of the most prestigious universities in Southern Italy and it is one of the largest universities in Italy, with a student population of around 60,000. The Basilica of St. Nicholas was built in the late 11th century to shelter and venerate the relics of St. Nicholas that reached Bari on May 9th, 1087 from the homonymous church in Myra, Lycia (modern-day) Turkey.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Caserta is in  <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campania">Campania</a> a region next to Apulia <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italy">.<br></a>It is an important agricultural, commercial and industrial town.<br>The city has some experience in hosting major international sports events such as the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EuroBasket_1969">EuroBasket </a></div><div><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caserta_railway_station">Caserta railway station</a> is a hub for regional and national traffic, an represents an important interchange linking <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rome">Rome</a> and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naples">Naples</a> to <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bari">Bari</a>. The nearest airport is <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naples_Airport">Naples-Capodichino</a>, located about 30 kilometres south.<br><strong>Piazza Matteotti Grave</strong> is one of oldest square in  the town, it is called by Casertani "Piazza Mercato" (Market Square) because there is the daily market in a structure inaugurated in 2008.<br><strong>Piazza Vanvitelli</strong> is the main square in the town.<br>The <strong>Royal Palace </strong> built by the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_royal_family">Spanish royal family</a> as their main residence as <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Naples">kings of Naples</a>. It is one of the largest palaces erected in Europe during the 18th century. In 1997, the palace was designated a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UNESCO">UNESCO</a> <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Heritage_Site">World Heritage Site</a>; its nomination described it as "the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swan_song">swan song</a> of the spectacular art of the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baroque">Baroque</a>, from which it adopted all the features needed to create the illusions of multidirectional space". From its panorama you can admire beautiful landscapes. <br>In this towns there are a lot of museums and churches<br>Matera is famous because the houses were built with White Stones,<br>The Stones is divided in:<br>-the "SASSO CAVEOSO",<br>-and "SASSO BARISANO" to Bari<br>Two importat churches in Matera are dedicated to the Apostle Peter , are "San Pietro CAVEOSO" and "San Pietro BARISANO". <br>The "Belvedere" is panorama very beautiful and exciting.
