Jumping into my first job in a startup like CIMB was really something scary to me at first. and as days past, work got harder, processes keep changing, and overall was challenging to say the least. But having you to guide me and mentor me through my stay here was really what made my stay in CIMB fun and worth while. I'm really glad to have met and worked with a great manager and friend like you.

I'm sure you'll do great in whatever you do and I know we'll still be friends outside of work.

I remember you sent a message once I accepted the offer from CIMB. Called you up and addressed you as “Boss” hahahaha.

It was a privelege working with you albeit remotely. Appreciate all your support and effort in squeezing me to your schedule just so I can adjust to the crazy pace in CIMB.

I will miss our casual friday meeting’s, we should have a live/physical meeting once this pandemic is over. All the best to your new endeavor, surely, you will be a great asset to your new family.

Cheers to the short and crooked time we had! From interactions with Bayad (mainly you warning us of Bayad), transferred to your team because Bayad nego broke (you knew it), CX discussions, then working with you and Nav again for Gsave, to all of a sudden giving all our work to Nav HAHA!

Our time together may have been short but it was fun and filled with lots of learning opportunities! I only wish I could've learned more from you.

Goodluck to your future endeavors and I know you'll do well in whatever you do!

I remember we first met at CIMB HQ in Kuala Lumpur way back in Jan 2018 and we had lunch at this noodle restaurant. Geez time flies so fast! It's been a pleasure working with you. You're one of the best people whom I love to work with in CIMB PH. And I am soooo happy and excited for you starting a fresh slate! I have no doubts you'll do great in everything that you do. Will definitely miss working with you and more.. will miss our "side conversation" haha!

Hey Virg!! I’ll never forget that the very first time we met was in NAIA because we were on our way to Kuala Lumpur to meet the rest of the CIMB team and Sunline (at tayo pag yung nag abono ng plane tickets natin HAHAHAH my golly). It was also a happy coincidence for me that I was gonna be working with Esa’s brother – it made me feel more comfortable moving to a new company (kahit na wala tayong office windows noon).

The company has definitely changed a LOT by now, but whenever I look back, it’s nice to know that some things have remained the same – one of those things being you. Despite all the cr*p we’ve gone through you've managed to remain kind, patient, and humble. You never let your pride or ego get the better of you even after all of your accomplishments and successes here – something I’ve always admired about you. And even during times when things were rough, you still remained happy and joyful and brought a very bright presence into the office.

I’ll miss our little Support Group sessions and our random walks + coffee breaks and lunches back in the office! I’m so grateful to have met you and it’s definitely been an honor working with you. I hope that in your next company you will also find friends that will continue to inspire, motivate, and support you. I will miss working with you and CIMB will definitely not be the same without your presence. Don’t be a stranger and please keep in touch!! :)
