Simple stories (diary entries, really) with easy German + vocabulary glossary, also provides English translation.
 
Good confidence booster, makes the training seem useful since it is simple, but yet would be impossible to understand without any German knowledge.

German for Spanish speakers - Dative and Akkusative cases. 

Good to make the connection with Spanish, since it has more cases than English. 
Cases are still really difficult for me.
