I would most likely be similar to Annemarie. I would be similar to her because she has silvery blonde hair, she is scared sometimes, and she is very adventurous, and curious. We both have those similar things in common. When Annemarie protected her friend Ellen's necklace, I would do the same thing for Ellen. So I would mostly be like Annemarie.

I would not recommend this book to anyone, except for people who like history. I would not because I don't like history, and it doesn't make sense sometimes. A character that I am most likely to be in the book is Peter. The reason why I am most likely to be Peter is that he is one of the most helpful characters in the book. As it says in chapter 11, they all open the casket and Peter starts handing out blankets to everyone because he said that tonight is going to be a cold one. Also another reason why I am most likely to be Peter because also in chapter 11, he looks out in the future. As peter is handing out paper, he went to the baby and thought that the baby might start crying and alert the german soldiers. I would not recommend this book to anyone I did not like the book. The book did not like the way the book started. I also think this book is  kinda cheesy I could guess the endings of the chapters easy. This book is similar to other books I have read because it has a lot of cliffhangers. The book this reminds me of is Among the Hidden. I kind of like the beginning were Ellen, Annemarie, and Kirsti start racing and the germans stopped them. They should not have that beginning. I think they should have a cliff hanger like how at the beginning of all of the I survived books they tell something like in the middle of the book. I am similar to Uncle Henrik because we both have a cow. 
Uncle Henrik is similar to me because we are both boys. Plus we both live in the country on a farm. One other thing is that we both help out people. Plus we do good things to help out the community.       I would and Wouldn't reccomend this book to a friend because it can be exciting but it also be boring. Reasons why i would reccomend this book to a friend is because some parts are exciting. If you like history you will love this book. If you want to learn what people went through World War II. Now reason that I don't reccomend this book to people is that it can get boring. I would not recommend this book to a friend becauses this book is short and there are to manney things going on at once.Also this book is boring to me and I feel that my friends would feel the same way as me.

The first book being, The Boy in Striped Pajamas. If you do not know this book, it is about a boy who has to move to the country because his dad is a nazi soldier. While he is there he meets a nazi his age in a camp for jews. They become friends and the one boy that is not a jew sneaks in to the jewish camp. They are both shoved into a gas chamber and dies me (crying). It reminds me of that story because it takes place during world war ll and a jew and german are friends. I would recommend this book yo my friends, because it is a really interesting. What makes this book so interesting is that it talks about the hardships about WWII. Also it kind of talks about how Jews would escape to Sweden. And it shows how the German soldiers would treat everyone during this time frame.
