We all learnt to give value to all the things we have, it is typical that we don't value things until we loose them. Such as spend time with our family, our friends, even ourselfs in the outside. All those things made us so happy and we didn't realize it until now when we can't enjoy them. We didn't know until now that we need all those things, we can have food, internet, free time, a big house, but neither of that replaces the social and psychological needs, or a simple walk with a friend in somewhere, or a hug of a family member.

We have learnt from the past year that when we could go outside without fear, without danger, we are going to enjoy, appreciate and love every single minute of our lives.

Our situation as a society these days brings us many questions, one of them is what are our learnings from the pandemia and the quarantine? Some could say we have learnt nothing, but I prefer to be optimistic and say that we have learnt a lot, and I already believe it. For example, as a society we have realized that we cannot survive alone, we have to be together and support each other, which is what doctors has been doing heroically during the last year and a half. But the doctors are not the only ones doing a good job, there are many normal people doing their best to help other people: teachers, who have faced a big change in their proffesion; volunteers, who have given a lot of their time to help people who needs help; and friends and families, who with love are bringing smiles to to the society.

Learning in our life as students

After three semesters online, we have realized that zoom is fundamental in our lives as students. Although it has been complex to adapt, many times we get tired of being so much time in front of a screen and we miss very much going to the university, being with professors and sharing moments with our friends, it is undeniable that this online life has given us great advantages. One of them is that the classes are always available for our study, if we did not understand something in class, it is as simple as going back to the content in the recording. It has also given us the possibility of making classes even more interactive, using whiteboards, Kahoot! and other platforms that were not used in face-to-face classes. The pandemic has brought us great learning from virtual life, and although it will never replace the richness of face-to-face classes, it is undeniable that the advantages of online classes should be maintained even when we return to face-to-face classes.

Has the pandemic crisis made us think about how we will carry on when the pandemic is over? Two years have passed since it started and gradually people have been adapting to the new way of life, making us reflect on whether we will be able to trust others again in a future without covid-19, whether we will be close to other people again or whether we will stop being afraid to interact with strangers.

We all wish to be able to go back to the way things used to be, but people and the system in general have changed in order to survive the crisis. Not to mention the accelerated technological development that has made this adaptation possible, allowing us to stay connected in a strange way. In the end, nothing ensures that everything will go back to the way it used to be.
