-Represent
-Our scene shows people of power or politicians chosen to represent groups of people.
-You get a say in the government, and many groups get people of political power who see things from their perspective.
-Not every group may get a representative, and representatives may lie about their beliefs to manipulate groups.
-We think that Locke would agree more with this, since more people get more representation, and there isn’t just one person in a place of power.

-Opinions
-This scene shows someone in a voting booth, since a large part of direct democracy is individual voting.
-You get to voice your opinion, and individuals get control over how the government affects them.
-A lot of people end up not voting, since there so many others who will vote whether or not they choose to, and it could easily be quite corrupt, because if a large group of people believe something very corrupt, they will win over the smaller group.
-We think Hobbs would very much disagree with this one, since he strongly believed in all of the political power resting on one person.

-Modern Monarchy
-This scene shows a king who is big in the public eye, but doesn’t have complete political power.
-Change is possible. Elections that allow people to vote are held frequently. Also, this form of government has a lot of culture and tradition behind it.
-This form of government can be expensive, and are hard to change, because it’s so complicated.
-We think Locke would sort of agree with this, since multiple people hold political power, and people get a say.

-Royal
-Our scene shows a royal family ruling completely over the citizens.
-A couple of people have complete power, which could be good if you agree with them. Another advantage is that it has a lot of tradition. A lot of people in the past had this type of government.
-It usually prioritizes males, and the citizens don’t really get a say in what happens.
-We think Hobbs would agree with this one, because he was very in favor of one person having complete power.

-Privilege
-Our scene shows a few very wealthy people who have control over the others.
-People who are experts would likely be ruling, since knowledge is passed down from generation to generation. Also, multiple people usually run an oligarchy, so it prevents singular people from making rash decisions.
-People who aren’t in positions of power don’t get much of a say in this type of government. It also promotes income inequality, because the money usually goes toward the people ruling.
-We think Hobbs would agree more with this one, since most people don’t get much of a say in the government.

-Control
-This scene shows one leader controlling people with puppet strings, because in a dictatorship, whoever is ruling gets complete power.
-Progress would likely be faster, since changes don’t have to go through multiple stages to go into effect. Crime rates are also generally lower, since dictators usually have very severe penalties.
-Dictators tend to abuse their power, and it’s difficult to stop them, since there isn’t really anybody else in a place of political power. Dictatorships also tend to be quite violent, and are often associated with the killing of innocent people.
-We think Hobbs would agree very much with this government type, because he believed in all political power going to one person.
