What makes a good nurse is having good communication skills, communication is fundamental for a good therapeutic relationship, this gives the person a sense of security and trust, reinforcing their perception of not being alone and of having someone who listens to them.
Having empathy and relational skills, empathy is a very important skill for nurses, it is important to know how to practice active listening and be able to put yourself in the patients' shoes. Having flexibility and adaptability, the nurse often takes care of multiple patients, and therefore must be able to respond to different needs depending on the person they are dealing with. Reliability, patience and precision, the nurse is the point of reference for the patient, the patient must know that he can rely on the nurse at any time.
I think and hope to be a good nurse one day because it is a job that rewards me, I always try to put myself in the patient's shoes, listening to him and also trying to establish a relationship of trust
