1. The first is the most important, this focuses on if Iran will become and obtain Nuclear power and weapons.

2. The second dispute is more to do with Israel and Iran's relationship and United States role in keeping the piece. Israel thinks that if Iran becomes a nuclear state, they will use the weapons against them

3. The third dispute is the policy of Iran in the two violent conflicts on Iran's border in which the United States has been engaged in over the last decade. This facet of the relationship tends to wonder if Iran will acts as a piece maker, or will created more difficulties for the United States with Iraq and Afghanistan.

Americans would like to stay distant from Iran but this is very hard to do because, as the worlds major global power, the US has what is considered important relations in the Middle East, where Iran views itself as a pivoting state. Iran's physical location and it's importance in the world makes it hard for the US to ignore. In 2009 Obama offered to open dialogue between the two countries but relations remain frozen. We need to keep some kind of relation with Iran for Oil and Gas prices in the US

The big turn in the relationship Iran Revolution of 1979 and The Iran Hostage Crisis.

The Iran revolution was a movement to overthrow the Shah, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, who had for nearly four decades led a regime typified by autocracy, brutality, and oppression. In 1967 he crowned himself as King of the Kings (Emperor of Iran) which caused discontentment amongst different levels of society. Iran people crushed their opponents and expand their power. They decided that Shah "Power" was contradicting the Constitution and decided to overturn his power. After shah fled he came to the U.S.A by invite from President Carter for treatment to his terminal cancer. The militants gained control in Tehran, they demanded U.S send Shah back to face their justice system they had created but the U.S government denied these demands because they knew it would end with death. In return Iranian students seized the American embassy and its personnel in Tehran on November 4, 1979 this was called the Iran hostage crisis, an event that played itself out on notational television for 444 days until they were released in January. These two events changed Americas views on Iran and they never recovered from that change.

Will Iran gain Nuclear Power? If So What Would That Mean For The United States?!

In 2010 there were 9 nuclear states and the question is should Iran be admitted and become the 10th state to gain nuclear power and if anything, could it be stopped. They believe that Iran does not need any nuclear power because:
- This just adds to the number of "fingers" on the nuclear "button.
- They believe this would make the Iranians become more aggressive and possibly encourage terrorism against the United States.
-This would also create greater nuclear escalation in the middle east but causing other states to obtain nuclear power to detain Iran.
- Nuclearization to Iran would cause the middle east to become more dangerous. This would heighten tension and raise the prospect of mass catastrophe.

The Iranians say that it has nothing to do with having the weapons to use, but everything to do with being looked at as a "great power state" and have "national pride.

The gain of nuclear power would pose no threat to the United states.

Israel fears that the main reason the Iranians want these weapons is to carry out a total destruction of Israel. Israel is a very small country and could be effectively obliterated with Nuclear weapons, which is a fear of several regional counties. Israel says that the Iranians threaten the Israel's with inflammatory rhetoric (denying the holocaust) So they believe that if Iran gets Nuclear power that they will stop of nothing short of eliminating them from the planet. Israel says the United states don't feel as if this could pose as a threat to them but they think that Iranians are closer to the power then U.S wants to consider. Goldberg's "point of no return" is the plan to launce a preemptive attack against the Iranians program's physical facilities before they become fully operational in order to retard the success of Iran's nuclearization. Israel believes that even without Americans approval, Israel needs to attack Iran because their threat is so real. Riedel thinks that an attack on Iran would make them even more determined to get a bomb.

This allows the United States to pursue interest in Israel's security, access to petroleum energy, and transformation of the region into a stable and hopefully democratic bastion. The obtain these goals the U.S must confront and neutralize both Israel and Iran's rivalry. This is no easy task foe the USA because Iran knows what goes on with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and Iran has ties with both countries. The main goal is to have piece with them.
