This refugee camp was created in 2011. Approximately 170,000 people are registered in the Dollo Ado refugee camps, according to UNHCR data as of May 2021. It is located in southeastern Ethiopia, close to the border with Somalia and Kenya. It was created so that Entreculturas is a development NGO promoted by the Society of Jesus that advocates for social transformation through education as the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and a means of social change, justice, and intercultural dialogue.
