If a child were to skip over language development or even a part of it during early childhood, it could lead to communication challenges and future learning disabilities that could have been avoided. Without being able to differentiate the meaning of words in a sentence it is hard to effectively communicate what you are trying to say, as well as understanding what someone else is talking about. Young children usually have a difficult time fully expressing themselves because they have trouble comprehending how to create a clear sentence.
